Q: What superhero is your Alter-ego?
Photo Credit: Comi Girl Magazine |
My superhero alter-ego would have to be Supergirl. I think it's cool to have the power of flight, (beats the traffic) so you do cool loops, twirls, spins in the air (okay, I might have made someone airsick) and close to being indestructible too helps if some guy tries a fast one or worse, corners you in an alley, thinking you're helpless.
Great choice! Unfortunately I am not extremely familiar with SuperGirl's history, but she is a DC character that I would love to study in more detail at some point. She had a couple parts in DC Universe Online and I found her interesting. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat choice, I picked Wonder Woman lol, following you from the hop, hoping you will follow me back at http://www.beckvalleybooks.blogspot.com we also have a book blog hop xx
ReplyDeletePs love the name of your blog x

@Kathy Ann Coleman Yes, she's part of DC Universe. I'm more familiar with the Supergirl before the Crisis of Infinite Earths were DC killed her off. I'm still trying to wrap my head on a lot of variations that came out after that and from the Justice League versions were she stayed in the Earth's future since she felt Kal-El's shadow to be a tough act to get out from under.
ReplyDelete@Beckvalleybooks Thank you I'm happy that you like the name too. I thought it was apt. I'm still knew to book blogging and hopefully, I can get into a routine too. It's interesting to meet fellow book lovers. Following you. :D

Supergirl is complete awesomeness. Thanks for stopping by Better Read Than Dead.
ReplyDeleteI think Jubilee and Dazzler are the same people, Dazzler is from the actual comic books. They always change things, it's so confusing.

ReplyDeleteNew follower, here's mine http://headstuckinabook.blogspot.com/
Great choice! I would definitely love to be able to fly! Although I'm not sure how that would work whilst transporting around my two little ones ;)
ReplyDelete@Rebecca Thanks!
ReplyDelete@sch_94Thanks for visiting! :D Followed back.
ReplyDelete@Niina Thanks! Hope the weekend treated you well. Followed you back too.
ReplyDelete@Kristin Aragon you're welcome. I don't know why they change character names and it's a little worse when the whole superhero universe gets retooled. I mean some reboots went well for comic characters, others didn't for me. Oh well. :)
ReplyDelete@LibrarySnake Found your GFC link and followed you back too. Thanks. Zatanna is one cool chick too.
ReplyDelete@FranThank you. I like that aspect too. :D Followed you back! :D
ReplyDelete@Alison Can Read Haha. Come to think of it, I haven't read in the comics (before when I was still into it) of Supergirl flying under heavy downpour. :D
ReplyDelete@Sarah Brown Thanks for the follow! :D Followed back. :D
ReplyDelete@Chrissie (Once Upon a Series) I'm sure they won't squirm too much since they'd be enthralled to have a cool flying mom. :D Thanks!
