Shush! Don't tell I'm taking a break |
Yes, pretty much still in costume mode as I toil on a costume that I'm "assembling" for the belated Halloween party. Yeah, it was moved way back till the end of the of month. Maybe I just fold and say, I can't go.
Book: The Locket by Richard Paul Evans I first saw the movie (which starred Vanessa Redgrave) aired over at Hallmark as part of their Yuletide presentation two Christmases ago. It was the last time I saw it. I wonder if I'll get to watch it this time around. I loved the movie no matter how many times I've watched it during Christmas. lolz. So I was shocked to find the book last month in at a thrift shop! I just had to grab it.
Lovely picture! OMG, are you making the Tia Dalma costume??!! If you are, I must see the finished pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteNew follower!
@Untouchable Treasure Oh, the Tia costume page? :) I just found it today and I don't think I'll be able to get all the necessary trinkets and what-nots and the costume itself. Maybe next Halloween? One has to have some back up costume these days. Thanks for dropping by. Followed back.
ReplyDeleteI actually love Costumer's Guide. Definitely one of my favorite sites. One of these days I'm going to make myself sew one of Elizabeth Swan's gowns. xD If you made the Tia Dalma costume, that would be epic!
ReplyDeleteI am loving this picture! So much fun! Thanks for stopping by my FF:)
ReplyDelete@Untouchable Treasure Same here. I could just go from one link to the next and forget the time. Good luck with the gown. :) Yeah, Tia Dalma would be epic cool :D

@Sarah Brown thank you :D
ReplyDelete@Books4JulietThanks followed you back too. :D
ReplyDelete@Jenna and Ashley Thanks for leaving the link. If you're asking me about the movie, yes, for me it was good as a Hallmark Movies are. :D Some tear-jerker moments and twists too. I was rooting for Michael Keddington (the lead character) to win the court case when his luck doesn't seem to be turning around after he lost the university scholarship and then his gf dad was also giving him a hard time but in the end, Lady Luck smiled at him and he was able to overcome the hurdles. Now, as about the book, I just started reading it last night and so far, I like the way, author Richard Paul Evans write the trials Michael faced and leading the reader to the world he's painting through words.
ReplyDelete@Emma Michaels Thanks! Hopping to the site. Followed back :D
ReplyDelete@Grace Fonseca Thank you I don't know yet if the "Weeping Angel" from Doctor Who will get done. I'm procrastinating. :)
ReplyDelete@Alison Can Read Hopefully, it will get back to you too when you encounter the book again. :D
