Follow Friday and Blog Hop (4)

Follow Friday
Follow Friday is hosted by Rachel of and Alison of Alison Can Read  If you want to join in the fun just head over the blogs mentioned above and start checking out the various answer for today's question:

Q: It's that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?

I would wish for Tolkien's world,  Middle-earth to become a reality. I like to see Gondolin before the fall so that would take me to somewhere in the First Age.

By Alan Lee -Hurin and Huor are carried to Gondolin

  1. Good choice! I love Tolkien. His writing makes you feel as though you were in the book while reading. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Hi!--new follower!

Good Choice!--Part of me was thinking of Tolkein, and C.S. Lewis--There are so many good books, I had a tough time picking just one--but for my top choice I had to go with Hogwarts! :D

    Have a great weekend!!!

  3. I like your answer. That's an exciting world to be part of. New follower. Come visit me over at Livre De Amour-Books of Love Blog.

  4. Hopping through. I need to re-read Tolkien's books. I think I'd appreciate them more now.
    My Hop

  5. Great choice with Tolkein's world having an amazing feel. I'm your newest follower and would love for you to visit me when you get a chance.....

  6. This week’s Follow Friday question is a hoot! In typical Howard Sherman fashion my answer isn’t a book world. No way. Uh uh.

    I picked an imaginary UNIVERSE.

You know how the saying goes – if you’re going to dream, dream big!

And I did! Follow me back to my blog and explore this imaginary universe with me –

    Thank God it’s Follow Friday!

  7. Hi! New follower.

I'm so ashamed to admit that I didn't even think of Middle Earth. I should have done as I adore Tolkien! I'd love to exist in that universe!

    Rea's Reading and Reviews

  8. Middle-earth - That would be really awesome.

  9. @Cristina Thanks for visiting. The way for me was I saw the first movie then quickly delved into the books. I agree the way he writes them, it does make you feel like you're in it. Then when I read about how he created the languages for each race, the level of detail just blew me away. I wish the fourth book was completed tho. I'm so curious about Eldarion's rule. :D

  10. @nymfaux HI! When I was thinking of my answer, I had those big 3 really in my head too.

  11. @Grace Fonseca Thanks for visiting. Followed you last week too ;D

  12. @Alison Can Read *nods* I'm planning to re-read Silmarillion too. :D

  13. Love Middle-earth. When I was in seventh grade I had the most amazing English teacher that opened this world up to me by reading The Hobbit. He did the voices and everything. That man is now an actual ghost hunter:)

Thank you for visiting and dropping me a line or two. ☺
