Questions:

1) Kevin Hearne had the most perfect beginning for this book:  "There are many perks to living for twenty-one centuries, and formost among them is bearing witness to the rare birth of genius."  If you were to live for centuries what do you think you would be excited to see?

A: The classical greats: Mozart, Chopin, Beethoven to name a few, the Parthenon, Atlantis if it did exist and the day we sent man to the moon. :D

2)In the 2nd chapter we learn about the amulet and its protection powers!  Do you think having met the Morrigan and heard about Aenghus Og that it will be enough to protect Atticus?  I mean the Morrigan has a point about hot chicks coming after him and his defenses might be down! He is very male!

A: I was also thinking Atticus might need some more wards added for defense and offense. His fairy specs seemed formidable but I hope it will continue to serve him no matter how strong the next enemy will come dropping by at his home or at his store.

3) The literary world's coolest dog is introduced in this chapter!  Did you love Oberon immediately?  Show me a picture or describe the type of animal you would love to have as a talking companion! (Cat, Dog, Mouse, Sloth, Horse---what is your pick--pictures please)?

A: Yes! I  just love Oberon. Their mental convos just gets me into stitches. Here's Tripp.

Tripp
I would like a golden retriever but I don't have enough running space. :D

4) In this chapter Flidais asked Atticus what his name is and then precedes to ask if anyone actually believes he is Greek?  He says nobody pays attention to names here.  Do you know what your name means and where it comes from?  Or do you have a name you wish had?  Let's talk names!

Sure. According to mom, she always wanted to visit Europe, (still a dream, don't know when that's happening) and she chose Lorraine.  I remember Lorraine means "in place of or born of." That intrigued me and further research yielded that it was an old place name somewhere in Germany. It was very nice. I hope I'll be able to take her to some travel escapade someday.

5) We learn about Atticus' lawyers in this chapter, a rather unique combo!  Without jumping ahead, would you hire a lawyer combination of two supernaturals who on the surface would appear to be natural enemies or at the very least two very Alpha attitudes? What would be the positives and negatives of that decision.

So true. I giggled when I finally met the attorneys.  Yeah, I would definitely employ a vamp and a werewolf. Funny, when I was reading the book, I was imagining the vamp lawyer as Mick St. John from Moonlight.  The positives of employing them would be that I know they can get things done at the best of their clients' interests while that may pose some gray areas, I still think I can agree with most of them. I also have a condition that they if start disagreeing with each other, they will not lash  out at each other but just talk it out over a glass of their favorite drink.

  1. Like your answers. Made me wish in a way I was reading hounded for the first time and just meeting all the characters. All the characters are brilliant aren't they. I don't often laugh out loud when reading but Oberon does make me laugh! Had a peek at your blog, it's really good, I see that your are a fan of the Halliwel sisters, I loved Charmed it's probably one of my favourite series!
