  3. Tag eleven people and link them on your post.
  4. Let them know you've tagged them.
My questions came from Chandra @Unabridged Bookshelf

Q1: If you could only choose three books to have in a deserted island with you what would they be:
A: Bible, The Locket by Richard Paul Evans (review here) and Reliquary by Martha Wells (mini-review here).

Q2: What situations or issues can you do without in a book?
A: Hmm, the seemingly contrived scenes that sends the lead protag to/will always/eventually fall for the damsel in distress and get hot and heavy in the chambers so-o quickly that makes me laugh at times.

Q3: What is the book or series that got you to start reading?
A: Nancy Drew books

Q4: What is one book you loved, that you discovered through blogging?
A: I don't know yet. I'm currently reading Solstice By P.J. Hoover and Hide 'N Go Seek By Dale Mayer and Hounded: The Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne

Q5: What is your favorite fairytale?
A: The Swan Princess

Q6: If you could change one thing about your favorite book, what would it be?
A: Well, my favorite book is presently "The Locket" by Richard Paul Evans and I guess the changes would be the same ones from what was seen in the TV movie. :D

Q7: What is your favorite supernatural creature?
A:  A Griffin :D

Q8: Can you say Rubber Baby Buggie Bumpers five times fast?
A: Not quite. :D Took me five sets to get it straight. hahah

Q9: What are you top five books being released in 2012?
A:  Cinder by Marissa Meyer, Iron Wyrm Affair by Lilith Saintcrow, Masters of the Veil by Daniel Cohen, Tricked by Kevin Hearne and The Assassination Game by Alan Gratz

Q10: You wake up to discover the Zombie Apocalypse has arrived? What do you do?
A: Call Doc Brown and hop inside his Delorean. :D

My questions for them:

Q1: What song aptly fits your current read?
Q2: Which book couple from your 2011 reads is your favorite and would like to see again and why?
Q3: I recently discovered the Steampunk genre, what book will you recommend for me to check out?
Q4: My favorite number is 8 and this was the last sentence of my current read:
"Any specific instructions, Don Basilio?" I asked. ~ from "The Angel's Game" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.
I'm curious, what was on page 8, the last sentence of your current read?
Q5: Who will you cast as lead protagonist and antagonist in the book you're currently reading?
Q6: I had my first author guest post so going down memory lane, name the author who first dropped you an e-mail to do a guest blog entry on your blog? What genre does his or her book belong?
Q7: If you had a chance to turn a book into a TV series, which book would it be?
Q8: You're inside the bookstore, which genre do you check out first?
Q:9: The genie of the Lamp granted you two wishes, what will be your final wish? (No wishing for more wishes) :D
Q10: Zombies everywhere, no humans on sight, you're the sole vampire around and you just drank from your last blood bag? What do you do?

  3. Here we go :D

Q1: What song aptly fits your current read?

ANSWER: "Free" (Haley Reinhart's 1st single). Its universal theme about self-liberation and inspiring vibe is the perfect and healthy soundtrack to ANY kind of reading. So recommended. The spirit of every protagonist speaks in full volumes here.

Q2: Which book couple from your 2011 reads is your favorite and would like to see again and why?

ANSWER: Vasilissa Dragomir and Christian Ozera from the "Vampire Academy" series. They're a total match, despite Lissa's royalty status and Christian's reputation of coming from a family of traitor vampires.

Q3: I recently discovered the Steampunk genre, what book will you recommend for me to check out?

ANSWER: You can look up Cassandra Clare's "The Infernal Devices" book series. A blend of dark fantasy and romance in a Victorian London setting.

ANSWER: "You'll never be a star if you stay here." Cordelia fixed her friend with an intense gaze. ~ From "Bright Young Things" by Anna Godbersen.

Q5: Who will you cast as lead protagonist and antagonist in the book you're currently reading?

ANSWER: I'll draw from the current "Vampire Academy" book I'm devouring (the 5th one).
    * Megan Fox AS Rose Hathaway
    * Henry Cavill AS Dimitri Belikov (as he has been unwillingly turned into a Strigoi - the term used for evil vamps - he's currently an antagonist to his lover Rose)

Q6: I had my first author guest post so going down memory lane, name the author who first dropped you an e-mail to do a guest blog entry on your blog? What genre does his or her book belong?
    Not happening yet :D

Q7: If you had a chance to turn a book into a TV series, which book would it be?

ANSWER: Anna Godbersen's "Bright Young Things" series into a TV miniseries. It delves into the exploration of young females' pursuit of their dreams and the dangers that may follow in the roaring 20's... the Jazz Age. I'm into shows with a strong theme of female empowerment, no matter what form it takes :)

Q8: You're inside the bookstore, which genre do you check out first?

    ANSWER: YA modern fantasy

Q:9: The genie of the Lamp granted you two wishes, what will be your final wish? (No wishing for more wishes) :D

ANSWER: Meeting the one and only Haley Reinhart. LOL. She'll be guest-starring on the CW's "90210" on March 27 while also performing her single. I like that she can do it all - singing and acting.

Q10: Zombies everywhere, no humans on sight, you're the sole vampire around and you just drank from your last blood bag? What do you do?

ANSWER: I hit the jazz lounge and jam with my mortal musician friends. This is one unique vamp who's into jazz and espresso shots. LOL. The bloodhunt will resume when needed.

    1. Jules, thanks for answering. I enjoyed reading them. "Bright Young Things" as a TV series. It does have a possibility. I'll also have to check about the video link you posted too. Tomorrow will do that as I'm getting a little crossed eyed :D I was in stitches finding about your vamp doing the last Hurrah. :D Oh, nice wish there. :D Enjoy Vampire Academy books. I'll look up "The Infernal Devices." Thanks for the rec.
