Yesterday in between deadlines haha, I went ahead and sent my question before Universal Channel UK's mid-day deadline for...
Katia Winter
#AskKatia portion of their future program. It was funny, I was wracking my brains for questions and somehow I kept coming up variants of questions that had been posted online before me.

I first thought of picking the legend of the town (now city) for today's ABC feature: C as in Calamba. The town has an interesting and quaint history dating back to the Spanish times.
One thing I'm happy for the TV landscape, viewing-wise that is, a move done by several cable networks (to perhaps fight against piracy) the decision to do match-airing of shows such as Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Sleepy Hollow, The Tomorrow People, Grimm and soon to come "Star-Crossed" this February and many others, which enables us for those living halfway across the globe to watch an episode a week after the USA airing. Although there was an announcement in one local cable network that they'll be airing an episode just after it has been aired in the US. :D
When this movie was going rounds in the cinemas, I didn't take too much notice because I wasn't particularly keen in watching Stewart as Snow or maybe I wasn't interested in this version of Snow White. Hey, I grew up with Disney. Haha. So when the movie finally came to making their cable rounds, HBO Asia aired it. It wasn't that bad but I still wished another actress portrayed Snow. Anyway, it was good to see Sam Claflin again. Charlize Theron was very good as the evil Ravenna.
The end credit song "Breath of Life" by Florence + The Machine was great and it matched the whole atmosphere of the movie. Now, I know why my friend loves this group. She told me they also provided a song for the show "Revenge."

For someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes magic, this was a great video exclusive by the sound team (Park Road Post Studios) for "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" and I had to agree, the music seemed to wrap me in my seat during the film and accented scenes or sequences on the right note. Truly, I'm amazed how every element worked together to bring this project in its final form.
There were a lot of things going on and the second movie did beg for several more viewings unfortunately, I was unable to go back to the cinema. So I'll be patiently waiting for the extended versions from both films to grace the video display stands here soon.
