I wanted to jolt my muses for the ongoing project my friend,
jazzontherocks and I are working on and so I took a stab in playing with Pulp-o-mizer cover generator last week.
It was quite fun playing around with the cover match ups and there was something I've only found out today,
Pulp-o-mizer has
two stories up on their site. The first one was an interactive story called "
Trapped in the Tower with the Brain Thieves Part One: The Toaster with Two Brains and the second tale was a serialized story called "It came from Pulp-o-Mizer" which are actually the collection of covers made through the site. There were no stories included in the second section as I've previously thought.
I began to check "The Toaster with Two Brains" story since the beginning piqued my interest. I found two links right at the end of the section that stated follow Nate's adventure or follow Gwen. I was immediately sent back to those "Choose Your Adventure" books I once found at my school library. While it was quite exciting to choose your own, I felt when I read books in this format, I have the gnawing feeling I was missing the rest of the story because I have no idea during the many options I've selected, I'd be able to see again the other characters in the story unless circumstances, intersect at the middle again and the lead protagonist (the one I usually hit the follow button) meets up with the characters.
