My Top Ten Covers are a mix of 2012 and 2011 covers really, Oh well, in no particular order. :D
Comment: I haven't read steampunk books before but I couldn't resit not highlighting this cover. The lady sure looks she means business and the guy? Hmm, mild-mannered-ish yet he might be someone who holds the MMA world title. :D
Published: September 5, 2011 by Little Brown Books for Young Readers
Comment: Jacob Reckless, I think the name got me first before the cover. :D I like the swirling lines on the right of his face. Does it hold meaning? I haven't read the book yet I saw it last month when I was at the city. I was kind of waiting for it to drop by our nearest book shop. :D
Publication: April 19, 2011 by Grand Central Publishing
Comment: It doesn't look much but sometimes minimalist works here. Take a historical figure, an ax behind his back and bloody footprints can be enough to grab by attention.
Publication: May 16, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press
Comment: The cobbled steps draws you and takes you to anywhere. The girl in the on the cover could be the thief of hope. The color is vibrant too.
Publication: October 4, 2011 by Harper Collins
Comment: The looks like the very book the children stumbled into. I haven't read the book as I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive. It could coming around next week or so. :D
Look for the sequel, Witch Born, coming May 2012.
Publication:September 1, 2011 by Rhemalda Publishing
Comment: Another book that I haven't read yet but the cover here was just mysterious. She looks like she was on the verge of crying or it's just affect of her glowing eyes just like Merlin TV show. :D
Comment: I saw this book just two weeks ago but I wasn't prepared by the sheer thickness of it. It floored me. I can't recall if it included some illustrations tho but I will look up a paperback copy somehow. The lone lightning strike makes one cringe.
Publication: March 22, 2011 by Imajin Books
Comment: Lone cabin, kids, fog, trees, twilight yeah, pretty much all in the cover to stir you curiosity. The blues are quite vivid.
Comment: Been reading several reviews of this book lately and the body hanging upside down is chilling and what about those people by the attic window?
Publication: January 03,2012 Feiwel and Friends
Comment: Red shoe and an almost translucent leg with robotic parts. :D Another simple cover that delivers a punch, imo.
