I used to this so I'll try to take is up again. Since I'm from this part of the world, (see - about me on the right hand side of the blog), it's most likely that kind of typhoon will traipse around this parts. I had to rescue books when our basement was flooded in a couple of years back. :( Unfortunately, several books were destroyed.
My list:
- Nancy Drew books - sadly my Hardy Boys books were the last victims of the flood. *cries*
- Stargate Atlantis books and magazines
- Star Trek: The Next Generation Comics
- Smallville books, magazines and several scripts
- Movie scripts/ TV show scripts
- Bible (this should be #1) opps.
- The LoTR puzzle book, The books (lolz). This will fill half of the life raft.
- The Screenwriter's Bible by David Trottier
- Thomas Kincade with Katherine Spencer books
- Richard Paul Evans books
I'm sorry you already had to lose some books... that's sad...
ReplyDelete*sigh* Yeah, it was awful to lose my fave books.
DeleteNancy Drew! I haven't ever read those! *gasp*
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a chance of these days, G. :D
DeleteSorry about the flood. I'd be sad too if I lost books like that.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it caught us by surprise. We never thought we'd be flooded in.
DeleteSorry you lost some when your basement flooded.
ReplyDeleteThis is a touch question. I don't know what my choices would be.
Thanks, I felt awful for the destroyed books. I understand it can be hard all right but in a true emergency, I might get to take 2 books max.
DeleteMy Nancy Drew/Hardy Boy collection would be number one to save too! I am sorry you lost your Hardy Boy Collection :( so sad!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVED Nancy Drew growing up. I have some of her books around my house...somewhere! So sad about the Hardy Boys books!!!!
ReplyDeleteNancy Drew would keep you occupied. I used to love the books where Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys teamed up.
