Q: Go count the number of unread books sitting on your shelf. How many?
71 books (ebooks together with paperbacks) Yikes. hahaha. How about you? How big is your unread pile. :D
New follower! I have so many books waiting to be read. My ebook pile is staggering, and I fear I will never make a big enough dent in it. Looking forward to your reviews!

My number is close to that! New follower :)
ReplyDeleteMy FF Post
LOL, only 71? I have about 100, and I was just patting myself on the back for having less than the last time I counted! New follower! My FF
ReplyDeleteMine's somewhere between 60 and 70. I'm a total hoarder. I keep buying and collection, and soon I'm going to start panicking.
ReplyDeleteDo you ever feel overwhelemed?
Happy FF!
xx
That's a daunting number! Good luck with reading them all, but at least you've got a ton of books on hand to stay busy.

I might as well put on my old people pants and say I remember the days when... Lol. I sometimes wonder if my to-read pile is slowly replicating itself overnight. It just keeps growing by leaps and bounds no matter how many books I read!
ReplyDeleteWow! I probably should've included ebooks huh? Shhh..I didn't! For the record I have way less. I look like a rookie compared to your number!

My FF post
@Oh! Paper Pages I'm hoping to whittle down my piles but whenever I visit my fave book shop and come across a promising book, I'm a goner. :D Followed back. :D Thanks, I hope to post reviews as soon as I can too.
ReplyDelete@Kate Whew, I thought I'm all alone. I felt like a tadpole with this number. :D Followed back!
ReplyDelete@TheReadingPenguin Hahaha, will this number will rise very soon. :D I forgot to add those on my notepad. :D Good for you that you managed to make a dent on your TBR file :D
ReplyDelete@Sarah (saz101) Oh, yeah. Right now, I'm a little panicking because I wasn't able to finish a reading challenge. Opps. I think it boils down to have some sort of discipline. hahaha. Wait, reading should be fun and not become a chore right! Well, I hope this coming days you won't feel overwhelmed. Happy FF!
ReplyDeleteHi, Just stopping by on the Friday Follow.
ReplyDelete70! That's a lot!
I have about 4 e-books on my computer that are waiting to be read and reviewed. On the shelf there are none. I usually get books from the library and take them back after reading them. A holdover from my bout with homelessness? Maybe.

Good morning - new follower stopping by on the Friday Follow.
ReplyDeleteI'm all for the big stack of old fashioned physical books . . . my (yikes!) 400+ gives me something to do if I win the lottery, or if civilization breaks down into some post-apocalyptic dystopia. :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog! 71 is a good number! You will have some good reading to start off the year! :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, I'm a new follower! That question was hard to answer lol.
ReplyDeleteAli @Ali's Bookshelf
Nice number of books, just hopping by.

Ah, I wish my number was that low. Unfortunately, mine is 120, which will assuredly grow this year with all the shiny new releases. *sigh* Hopefully, I'll find the time to read a dent in it...that or maybe I'll just lose a few sleeping hours to do just that.

Wow! Although I gotta say, it's a good number if there's a book shortage and suddenly no more books come out...EVER! :)

I didn't count my ebooks but I'm sure there's a ton LOL!

ReplyDeleteI've got about that many in real books but I honestly have no idea how many ebooks I have to read.... I don't think I want to know! :D
http://sweet-tidbits.blogspot.com/2012/01/follow-friday-3.html
@Kristan lolz, I try not to think about the number. In fact, some of the books are neatly tuck away so they don't get left unread and not appear like all over my desk as if they're staging a revolution. :D hehehe. Followed back!
ReplyDelete@Natalie (Mindful Musings) *Chuckles* I know the feeling too. :D Good luck with your pile!
ReplyDeleteYou don't have too many :P Not enough to freak about at least xD My family is always like oh my gosh you need to stop getting books. Im trying to get them to convert our 2nd bedroom into my own personal library. :D
ReplyDeletehttp://bookden.blogspot.com/2012/01/feature-friday-tbr-pile.html?showComment=1325897882321#c3642831972205486352
That's about the same amount that I have. I'm a new follower by the way! I'm trying to buy more books, because my parents always go, "We're not getting you any books, and you're not getting any books. That's what a library's for." I've been listening to them for ages now, and it's about time I visit my local Barnes & Noble to reconnect. ;)

@Grace No worries your secret is safe. I think there are more serious bibliophiles out there and it just amazes me. :D
ReplyDelete@Alison Can Read Hi Allison, no worries. Hey, at least they're only ten. :D Happy weekend!
ReplyDelete@Jez
ReplyDeleteSame here and I'm already wishing Monday won't be too hectic so I can squeeze in a reading. :D Happy weekend. Heading to your page!
@Sam Yep, I've seen them. It amazes me too. I feel like I'm not bibliophile enough too.
ReplyDelete@Georgia Saunders Yesterday, I try to curtail my book buying until I've whittled down my list. I think I need a stronger pull to stop me from purchasing a book. Followed back!
ReplyDelete@Rebecca hahaha. I think so. Actually I was afraid I might reach 100 :D
ReplyDelete@Cana Elene Thanks!
ReplyDelete@Bob (Beauty in Ruins) Woah! That's indeed huge haul. Followed back!
ReplyDelete@AmyYup, I know. Followed back!
ReplyDelete@AliI think for some it was. :D
ReplyDelete@Tribute Books Mama I just have it increased by 2 books. lolz. I think it's time for a book buying ban. :D
ReplyDelete@Danielle Good luck! I hope you'll be able to chop that number to 2 digits too. :D Hopping to your link.
ReplyDelete@The Brunette Librarian *shudders* or zombies came out and wreck havoc at everything.
ReplyDelete@AnnaAt first I thought about not counting them, but it wouldn't be fair.
ReplyDelete@Bonnie I almost balk at my number. :D
ReplyDelete@Bri
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the project. :D
@Eileen I think I need to install a book buying ban for the meantime. I'll go broke many times over with this. hahhaa. There's just so much exciting ones out there waiting to be read.
ReplyDeleteWow! How do you ever manage that! I should try your system. But I'm not sure I could only pick 2 that I want to read the most! Thanks for stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteAmy @ Following The Reader
@AmyI try :D Your welcome :D
